I prefer rats myself but the only difference is that mice are smaller than rats. Other than that difference they are exactly alike.
Rats are more social and interactive. They also eat more but smell less. Average lifespan in captivity 3-5 years. Note that rats are very susceptible to cancer.
Mice are smaller and don't like being held as much. They also smell more but you don't have to clean their cages as often and have less needs. Average lifespan in captivity 1-3 years.
A rabbit, a squirrel, and a mouse are all classified as mammals, specifically within the broader category of rodents for the squirrel and mouse. However, rabbits belong to a different order called Lagomorpha. Collectively, they can be referred to as small mammals or rodents (for the squirrel and mouse).
Squirrel
it depends if your gerbil or mouse is active or lazy if your mouse is lazy and your gerbil is active then the gerbil is probably faster but if your gerbil is lazy and your mouse is more active then your mouse will be faster so it depends!!!!!

The squirrel runs away.
"He runs like a squirrel" is a simile because it directly compares the way someone runs to the way a squirrel runs using "like" or "as."
