John Deere farm tractors are built in Waterloo, Iowa, USA. Any one else know more about Case or AGCO?

John Deere, Massey Ferguson and Fendt are the three best farm tractors but they all cost a lot of money. A lot of of other tractors are ok but none are really in their league. New Holland and Case are both cheap but you get what you pay for with tractors.
I'll try to give you an unbiased answer...John Deere. I have farmed with many colors of tractors varying from green to red and even a little orange and gray but over the years I have found that John Deere does make the best tractor. They rarely have mechanical problems but if you do they have a virtual army of skilled mechanics to stand by you to make sure it is fixed. No company other than John Deere has remained under the same name for 172 years like John Deere has.
John Deere is one of the leading companies that sells the most combines worldwide. Other key manufacturers include Case IH, New Holland, and Claas.
In America the most widely known brand of farm tractor is John Deere. While it may be the most popular, tractors by New Hollard, Kubota, Case, and Ford are all well respected in the farming community.

They are certainly one of the top brands. I have friends that use CASE tractors and have been very happy with them. It is mostly a personal choice for you though. Although, John Deere Tractor's have been around for a long time and are loved by many, there are certainly other brands that are also preferred. This is a choice that each individual determines upon what there own preference is.
I completely agree with the prvious answer, but lets try to be unbiased. John Deer is reliable...Case is not always. John Deere has been around for 172 years...Case has not. I really wonder who is the best?
The John Deere 318 with the serial number MOO318X31695 was manufactured in 1983. John Deere's serial numbers can help identify the production year, and in this case, the "MOO" prefix indicates it was produced in that year.
