some time it means that there back or front teeth are to long, causing your piggie to drewl. take them to a vet to have there teeth clipped as it can be fatal if left too long. or get them a knawing block for there front teeth...
god yes i had guinea pigs and we covered them at night and when it rained so they did not get wet.
Guinea pigs don't have visible tails. They have tail vertebrae (inside their skin), so in the strictest sense, no they can't get wet tail. But "wet tail" usually means diarrhea, and guinea pigs CAN get diarrhea.guinea pigs cant get the condition known as wet tail as far as i am aware, it only effects Hamsters and is caused by Lawsonia Intracellularis and E. Coli. diarrhoea is an affliction which affects guinea pigs, however
Most guinea-pigs like to be gently scratched on the back of their necks - this often elicts 'purring' from them. They also like to be stroked along their backs, but again, not too hard as it can hurt them.
Guinea pigs can catch a chill or become sick if they get wet, especially if they are left damp for an extended period. It's important to keep them dry and provide a warm, dry environment if they do get wet in the rain.
Use a wet flannel, slightly dampened, and lay over the guinea pig's back.
They don't have scabs on their necks! Take them to the vet if you see scabs!
No!!!!!!!They are actually part of the rodent family.
No.
They should be, because they have the placenta around them. The mother should lick/eat it off, and their fur will be wet and slimy at first.
Get your guinea pig out a little more. But not to much but just enough there not scared or get a disease i dont know if guinea pigs can get a disease from that but my gerbel got wet tail from holding him to much but enough that it is use to people.
I have three
Not sure, but guinea pigs aren't type of pigs. They're in the rodents family, and NOT pigs. Hope this helped?
