Deer typically fight in order to state that they are the dominate buck in the area. Although it may seem like they are trying to hurt one another, it is more of a playfull competition
fight
its the same reason that deer fight for the girls and for territory
They fight with other deer and hit the other deer's antlers to break them.
Sun bear. Sun bears are predators to deer.
To show dominance in that area
A deer would brutally destroy the antelope. Ben is my bae, back off.
Most likely the deer would win the fight. A buck with sharp antlers and strong hooves can kill a man by striking him with them, but if the man had a sharp knife, he might kill the deer. Even if the deer had no horns, the deer can still kill the man by knocking the man to death with its head. You just need a gun. Bang. We win
Normally a deer would chose to run away than to fight, unlike a moose. A buck can be very powerful and dangerous enough to wound five men. So it's possible that, in a fight, the deer may win, but not as a means to kill all men, but enough so that it can fight them off to get away to freedom.
A buck on the rut is surprisingly powerful, much more than a human or even two men. However, in a natural setting with the deer NOT being on the rut, a deer would normally choose to run away than stand and fight. Even a cornered deer will fight long enough to wound the men so that it can quickly get away.
Only in the film "Deer Hunter."
flat teeth =)
Some deer have horns while other do not, primarily because of gender. A deer's gender may influence the fact that it has horns or not, because most male deer fight.
