I disagree. Ferrets for Dummies, as well as a number of other sources say it's a normal, if somewhat disgusting, habit. If the ferret had diabetes, I might think it's possible due to spilling of sugar into the urine, but diabetes is very rare in ferrets. Where did the person who posted above get this information?
