It sounds like your talking about the horse's turnout rug. When a horse's blanket slips and won't stay where it's supposed to, it may not have fit right to begin with. Different brands of blankets from different manufacturers have a different fit. Size can very also when you have different blanket makers. Check all the straps and buckles on the blanket and make sure they are adjusted right. If you can't seem to get it to stay on the way it is supposed to maybe try a different size or manufacturerer. For a seagrass rug, it's best to use a natural latex or felt rug pad, as these materials provide cushioning and prevent slipping without damaging the rug's fibers. Make sure the pad is slightly smaller than the rug to avoid visible edges. Additionally, a rug pad with a non-slip backing can help keep the seagrass rug in place on hard surfaces. Avoid rubber pads, as they can trap moisture and cause mildew.
You can use rug grip tape or a non-slip rug pad underneath the rug to prevent it from slipping on a carpet. Another option is to apply silicone caulk or double-sided carpet tape along the edges of the rug to secure it in place.

A carpet to carpet rug pad provides cushioning, prevents slipping, and extends the life of both the rug and the carpet underneath. It also helps to reduce noise and adds an extra layer of insulation.
