The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received three petitions to list the greater sage-grouse as threatened or endangered throughout its range. The Service has found that the petitions provide sufficient information that listing may be warranted and will begin a status review of the species. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced it will conduct a scientific review to decide if the tiny rabbit - the smallest in North America - deserves protection as a threatened or endangered species. The government introduced 20 pygmy rabbits in the Columbia Basin. But within a month only one male remained, because of predators.
Pygmy and Cottontail rabbits. The volcano rabbit of Mexico is endangered, but the pygmy and cottontail rabbits are not endangered species.

yes they are
"Breeding like bunnies" is a statement that sort of says it all. There are no issues regarding the survival status of rabbits that I have read about for decades. The pygmy rabbit (Brachylagus idahoensis) found in the Columbia Basin is endangered. (Pygmy rabbits in other parts of the US are not endangered at all.) It was believed at one point that they were extinct in the wild and only existed in captivity. Through conservation efforts, pygmy rabbits were bred and released back into the wild and have begun to breed naturally again.
they may or may not be endangered. not enough is known about this species to really know. seahorses in general are endangered.
