I've heard pumpkin is good for horses. Some people feed seeds, powder, and other forms as part of their horses diet. My ponies love it! I dice it and bake it with fenugreek and cumin, (both of which are herbs that horses love and benefit from) but I usually end up eating them all first!
Pumpkin powder is great mixed with a soft MASH, and adds a fantastic colour to the bucket! The seeds are very tasty either toasted or on their own, or roll them in garlic powder for 'sweet-itch treats'.
