If you have another guinea pig (e.g. two guinea pigs in one hutch) it should be fine as they keep each other company.
But if you only have one then as long as you regulary visit it and care for it when your not at school it should be fine.
To stop it from getting lonely you could sometimes leave treats and small guinea pig toys in the hutch for it to play with during the day.
Hope this helps!
im sure about half mouse but im sure about guini pig
i have over 30 guinea pigs and that has happened to me once to. usually they are fighting over dominance if they are males. if they are females they probably just didn't like each other. im sorry about your guinea pig :(
Its a liquid but its normal[Edited by XxXhiXxX] A.K.A: pee, wee, piddle and that ;)
Take it to an exotics vet immediately.
Are you talking about A GUINEA PIGS SISTER or your SISTERS GUINEA PIG??? I'll just answer both then... First a guinea pig would take a while to get used to the new guinea pig, but I'll tell you they wouldn't HATE each other. Second, it depends on your sisters attitude, but mine would be pretty happy for a new guinea pig, but still A LITTLE heartbroken at the same time. Hope this helped!
yes im sorry but they can but theres not that high of a chance she will die

If you are lazy with proper storage of guinea pig food, and do not clean up spilt food than yes, guinea pigs can potentially attract mice. To avoid this from happening, keep all guinea pig food tightly closed and off the ground. It is also a good idea to vacuum the ground around your guinea pig's cages regularly.
hmmm...thats weird!!!!! Im not really sure what could have been the cause, but, if the wood shavings were pine/cedar then that could have contributed to the death of your pig.
no you are not crazy! I won't attract mice dont worry. I just recently brought my guinea pig in because the other one died and he is much happier. If they get to lonely they die early. Your doing the right thing!
