It just means to take steps that will put your site up high in the search engines. Pay attention to your keywords that you use in your content. Chat yourself up some on Facebook or Twitter. Build some buzz and your site will do better on the search engines, and you'll get visitors.

The main site you want your searches to turn up on is Google. Recently, Google performed work on the infrastructure to make search results faster, more accurate and in fact, provide users with more of what they're seeking.

Most of all, give your visitors an honest product. Do the best you can with your website, and keep it clean. You don't have to have a fancy layout, but you should make it easy on your visitors. Make your site a nice place to visit without the drama of popups and bad or obscene content.
