Are there available any English translations of Karl Ludwig Schmidt's The Framework of the Jesus Story?

At this time, there does not appear to be an existing English translation. However, Dr. Byron R. McCane of Wofford College is currently (as of 12/26/2007) under contract with the University of South Carolina Press to produce a translation of this work. Dr. McCane previously produced a translation of Schmidt's work "The Place of the Gospels in the General History of Literature"; it was published by the University of South Carolina Press in 2002.

An English translation of Karl Ludwig Schmidt's, _Der Rahmen der Geschichte Jesu_ (The Framework of the Story of Jesus) is now going to press with Pickwick Publications, an imprint of Wipf & Stock. The translation is by Byron R. McCane, who also translated Schmidt's other influential book, _Die Stellung der Evangelien in der allgemeinen Literaturgeschichte_ (The Place of the Gospels in the General History of Literature).
