Paracetamol can be prescribed at surprisingly high total daily doses split over 24 hours. The biggest issue with this drug and high dosing is liver damage. In fact, a person would be more likely to hurt the liver as the liver tries to detoxify the blood than to succeed at suicide. Plus, nearly all narcotics manufactured in the US now also contain anti-abuse chemical technology intended to prevent people from using a drug to get high or using it for suicide. So overdoses are more likely to cause long term liver damage.

Nearly everyone who feels depressed has felt "pain", whether physical or emotional. However, those who have attempted suicide plus suicide prevention specialists agree on one fact: "pain" is temporary while suicide is a permanent reaction to a temporary situation, including your current emotions or feelings. What you feel or believe can and likely will change just as sure as Ohio's weather (which frequently changes even in the same day).

Giving up on yourself or on your life is not the answer! Life can be challenging...but finding solutions can be fun when you approach your problems with gentleness and compassion for yourself. If you feel you did something wrong or stupid, or make a mistake(s), you need to think of scientists and inventors like Einstein, Bell, Currie who "failed" and made literally thousands of mistakes before figuring out the 'big' grand solution (Einstein: physics; Bell: the telephone; Currie: radium). You aren't alone if you've experienced personal losses, either, but what you choose to do in the face of loss will set you apart from others. And, even people who you would never dream suffer from physical pain do indeed suffer. But instead of giving in and giving up, they try to reach out to help others and fulfill their own life's dreams.

Don't ever give up on yourself without following one rule, which is:

I will give myself another day, another week, another month, another year, for I am all I have and will ever have in life; let me have the wisdom to look beyond this moment and realize I have the power to do SO much in this tiny 'second'.
