English speaking members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) use the King James Version of the Bible. This Bible was translated out of the original tongues (mostly Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic) between the years 1604 and 1611. It was first published in 1611. In the 1970's, the Church published it's own King James Bible - the text was the same but footnotes linked to other books that Church members consider scripture. Prior to that, any King James Bible was used.
Other books that "Mormons" use as scripture are the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine & Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. These have never been rewritten, although they have been revised to correct spelling and grammar, or, in the case of the Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price, to add or subtract entire books or sections. (These the Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price are considered a canon of 'modern revelation', which means they can be added to or subtracted from by prophets in these modern times. The Bible and Book of Mormon are a canon of 'ancient revelation', meaning they should not be altered.
The Book of Mormon has been translated into about 110 languages. It was written by ancient American prophets from 600 BC to 421 AD. The majority of the book was compiled by a prophet named Mormon in approximately 385 BC. The remainder was compiled by his son, Moroni, who then buried the plates in a hill in current-day New York. In 1823, Moroni, as an angel, appeared to Joseph Smith, Jr. and showed him where to find the plates. Joseph translated the writings to English by the power of God, and the first full English edition was printed in 1830. The Book of Mormon was abridged once by Mormon and Moroni and translated once by Joseph Smith.

The bible has been rewritten by tons of people. And once the prophets speak and it's written noone has the authority to change it. "for what I the Lord have spoken I have spoken and I excuse not myself, whether by my voice or the voice of my servants it is the same." In my church we believe in the Bible "as far as it is translated correctly" I love the Bible and it is a great book however we also have the Book of Mormon, which is like the Bible but it was written here in the America's to be a testament of Christ on the American continent before the days of communication between east and west. Go to mormon.org if you want to learn more. if not that's cool
While the Bible is known to have been altered throughout history and has errors because of that, the Book of Mormon and Qur'an both claim to be revealed directly to their prophets in recent times, and as such claim to be far more accurate books.
