In the King James Version translation 'soul' roughly shown 150 times in the Old Testament..in the New its 76 times. It will vary depending on what translation you are looking at. You can type in a word in a search on Biblegateway and then select what translation you want and in what language you want. Each page shows up to 25 verses on Biblegateway which is how I came up with that estimation though in some verses, soul, is mentioned more then once.
*note for those editing this..leaving out "biblegateway" causes the explanation to my answer as to how I got the number of times souls is mentioned in The Bible to make no sense. Doing a random search on the net won't have the same results..it fact it will probably just lead to this page. Please leave that in there. Thanks.
