The Bible was written with the inspiration of God. This means that the entire Bible was inscribed by men who wrote exactly what God intended This includes whatever God impressed upon them to write regarding events and their meaning, their own personal experiences of life, and their dealings with God and other people.

People used their own linguistic ability, as well as the available materials of the time, to write down what they were inspired to write. This accounts for the different styles of the various authors. One example of this is that there are 4 books known collectively as "The Gospels." God used four different people with different abilities, styles, and audiences to convey His Word.

Another example is the Pentateuch. Moses collected details to give Genesis its final form. He also wrote the other four books. Moses used somewhat different styles according to the various settings at the times of the writings. This can be observed today when the same author writes a job application versus an autobiography. With regard to the Bible, scholars have identified biblical passages which demonstrate the work of one author under God's inspiration, but also God's actual words being recorded. An example would be the Ten Commandments.

Thus, in the Bible, there is a 'coming together' of the divine and the human elements. The perfection of God uses the ability and the limitations of humans (speech, technology, individual weaknesses, and sin) to communicate His message.
