Samson's parents were clearly told that Samson should not cut his hair as it would be the source of hiss strength.
She was from an enemy tribe- she lured him and deliberately stole his strength...as the story goes.ANS2:The source of Samson's strength was not his hair. His hair was a symbol of the promise he made to God, from Whom his strength came. Her cutting his hair was the symbol of her coming between Samson and his God. After Samson was blinded, he finally 'saw the light' and repented. God gave him his strength back so he could pull down the main pillars and collapse the palace. Delilah's motivation to cut his hair must have come from her desire to control Samson.Mel Gibson could probably describe a similar story.
After failing three times to get the secret of Samson's strength, she finally wheedled it out of him. Then when he was asleep she called the Philistines and arranged for his hair to be cut. She did not actually do the cutting but had someone do it for her (see Judges 16:19).
It's not. There is no mention of Delilah's adultery, Delilah being Samson's wife, in the Bible. However, Delilah did engage in treason and deceitful behavior, using sex to elicit from Samson the cause of his strength and cutting his hair when she discovered this to be the source of his power.
Samson had mammoth physical strenth.
The Bible does not specify the height of Samson. He was a 'Judge' of Israel who was part of the tribe of Dan and promised to be raised as one dedicated to God - a Nazirite (not a person from the place name Nazarite). He was given supernatural strength from God and this seems to be why many who depict this character in various media make him out to be of large stature. You may read of Samson in the Book of Judges beginning in the 13th chapter. See link below:

Samson needed to abstain from cutting his hair in order to maintain his strength, as a sign of his commitment to God. Breaking this vow would result in his loss of strength, as seen in the biblical story of Samson and Delilah.

Samson is to his hair. Like how David used a sling to defeat Goliath, Samson's strength came from his long hair, as described in the biblical story of Samson and Delilah.
I have never heard of such a man; that is, other than Samson who allowed his hair to be cut.
