No. Jesus taught the Samaritan woman at the well and others who came from her city (John 4:6-40), but she is never named, and the only miraculous power displayed in that encounter was in Jesus knowing her thoughts (v.17 and 18).
On the other hand, the woman Jesus cast seven demons out of is plainly identified as Mary Magdalene. See Mark 16:9 and Luke 8:2.
Mt:8:16: When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
At the time, Jesus said this phrase to a group of men who were going to stone a woman for committing adultery. When Jesus asked what they were doing, the men turned to Him telling Him what they were doing and why. Jesus then replied with "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Meaning, every single one of those men are full of sin just like the woman they were going to stone. They had no right to stone a woman for sinning when they sin also.
In Mark chapter 7 (followed by Matthew 15:26-28), Jesus is said to have called Gentiles 'dogs' and only agreed to help a Gentile woman when she humbly accepted that description: (Mark 7:27) "But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs." This was a racial slur.
There are many. The account of Sodom and Gomorrah is a good one where God destroyed it because of homosexuality, which He calls an "abomination". Another is where He came to earth as Jesus Christ, born of a sinful virgin, cast out demons, raised people from death and healed people. The parting of the red sea is another good one. God has command over everything, including nature. This is proven in the Word of God.
What do you mean here? There is no mountain in the Bible that i know of that any angels cast anywhere
In Mark 16:9 Mary Magdalene is referred to as the woman "out of whom he had driven seven demons."
Demons and or devils have that power, according to the Bible. Jesus cast out demons.
The Bible does not state the names of the demons.
Mary Magdalene (Luke 8:2) There was also a man who had a 'legion' of demons posessing him, and Jesus healed him too (Mark 5:2-10)
The Bible does not specify the number of demons Jesus cast out of Mary Magdalene, only that he cast out "seven demons." This event, mentioned in the Gospels, illustrates Jesus' power over evil and his ability to heal and transform people. After being freed from the demons, Mary Magdalene became one of Jesus' devoted followers.
Instances in the Bible where demons are cast out by Jesus or his disciples include the story of the demon-possessed man in the region of the Gadarenes (Mark 5:1-20), the healing of the demon-possessed boy in Capernaum (Mark 9:14-29), and the exorcism of a demon from a mute man in Matthew 9:32-34.
A:In ancient times, people believed that illnesses of which we now understand the true cause, were caused by demons possessing the person. Jesus cast out these demons.
Yes. There is no direct record or description of the occurrence in the gospels, but it is mentioned in hindsight.Mark 16:9 - Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. [NKJV]
Jesus drew out the evil spirits from people in the bible.
Mt:8:16: When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
First you must believe in Jesus, believe that He died for your sins and was raised from the dead. then you must confess out of your mouth that Jesus is Lord and turn from sin and follow Jesus. Jesus will help you. find a good Christian Church that believes in the spiritual.
They are both demons. Legion was/were referred to in the Bible in possession of a man that Jesus came across. He cast him/them out of this man. Belial is one supposedly one of the high-ranking lieutenants of Lucifer
