"3 ATM" on a watch is a pressure rating for 3 atmospheres (a unit of pressure equivalent to three times Earth's atmosphere) which is roughly equivalent to 30 meters (~100 feet) of water resistance (though most manufacturers will not recommend you swim or dive with it at all)
3 time
Atmosphere is a measure of pressure, not of length like the meter.
Don't know, but I think there are 14 watches in 3 gallonz...
use P*V (because it is pressurized) 12 L *160 atm = 1920 Liters then P*V @ 1 atm (the normal atmospheric pressure) 12 L*1 atm = 12 L Now subtract 1920 L - 12 L = 1908 L , this is because it will only fill balloons until it reaches the surrounding atmospheric pressure so some gas will remain in the tank. Finally, divide by the 3 L to get the number of balloons 1908 L / 3 L= 636 balloons
5.1 is the mean of 7.2 and 3.
That u only have 3 bucks left on ur creditcard. lol.
A typical watch for women is 6 3/4" to 8". Many times bands can be adjusted to fit the size a woman's wrist.
A. An increase in pressure from 2 ATM to 3 ATM will result in a decrease in volume of gas. B. An increase in pressure from 3 ATM to 4 ATM will result in a decrease in volume of gas. C. A decrease in pressure from 4 ATM to 1 ATM will result in an increase in volume of gas. D. An increase in pressure from 1 ATM to 3 ATM will result in a decrease in volume of gas.
2 atm + 3 atm
The total pressure of the mixture of gases is equal to the sum of the individual pressures, so in this case it will be 2 ATM + 3 ATM = 5 ATM.
2 atm + 3 atm
"ATM" stands for ATMospheres and the number before it, refers to the number of atmospheres of pressure the watch will withstand before leaking. At sea level we are all subjected to one atmosphere of pressure, because we have one atmosphere of air above us pressing down. For every 33 feet (10 metres) underwater you go, the pressure increases by 1 atmosphere. Therefore, at 33 feet underwater the pressure is 2 atmospheres (2 ATM), at 66 feet underwater the pressure is 3 atmospheres (3 ATM), etc. So 5 ATM is equivalent to 132 feet (40 metres) underwater. In conclusion, the ATM rating of a watch is the number of atmospheres of pressure the watch will withstand before breaking/leaking. To convert ATM 's into the depth rating in metres just subtract 1 and multiply by 10. eg: 5 ATM = (5 - 1)*10 = 40 metres.
The total pressure of the mixed gases will be 5 ATM. The partial pressure of each gas will remain the same as their individual pressures before mixing, so the partial pressure for the gas originally at 2 ATM will remain at 2 ATM, and the gas originally at 3 ATM will remain at 3 ATM.
2 atm + 3 atm
forearms like 3 or 4 inches after the wrist
The term "atm" means "atmosphere" It's a term used to measure pressure. One atmosphere is the atmospheric air pressure at sea level. On a watch it is a measure of water resistance. Under water the pressure increases by one atmosphere for every 10 metres of depth. So "10 atm" on a watch means it is water resistant to 100 metres. "30 atm" is water resistant to 300 metres. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_pressure
