This is an opinion and cannot be answered by fact. It is up to you to find what you like best.

Another answer:

The Bible wasn't written as "the Bible." It's a compilation of different manuscripts written at different times in the past [some, pre-flood], that were Divinely protected and preserved and assembled for the latter day generations of man to know God's Truth.

It's Divinely-revealed Knowledge from and about man's Creator for man that was orally received and passed on in the beginning. It began to take form as "the Bible" when God called Moses and the Israelites to be responsible for its preservation.

"Moses was with the assembly of God's people in the wilderness. He was the mediator between the people of Israel and the angel who gave him LIFE-GIVING Words on Mount Sinai TO PASS ON TO US." (Acts 7:38 NLT New Living Translation)

The BEST WRITINGS of the books of the Bible are, of course, THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPTS, as God's Holy Spirit inspired His Truth to be recorded.

All succeeding "translations" of these preserved writings into other languages, as dedicated as they may or may not have been, are [somewhat less-than-inspired and] flawed in some way or other, each in the different ways that is common to the translation of any language... one to another. Slanted by the human translators' agendas and perspectives.

The Bible as we know it today has seen many language translations and other attempts to "interpret" it into modern parlance and/or local jargon... the worst of which may somehow even have some redeeming value that may resemble the intent of the Original Manuscripts.

In the end, however... the Truth and Understanding of God's Word is ultimately found in the "personal connection" and "intimate relationship" between the reader and the Bible's LIVING AUTHOR.

The "best-written" Bible [if there is such a thing] remains as virtually meaningless to the vast majority of mankind which has NEVER BELIEVED in its WORDS[and many of whom never heard or read it], as the "parables" Jesus preached to the masses:

"Jesus always used stories and illustrations like these when speaking to the crowds. In fact, He never spoke to them without using such parables. This fulfilled the prophecy that said, 'I will speak to you in parables. I will explain mysteries hidden since the creation of the world.'" (Matt.13:34-35 NLTNew Living Translation)

The purpose of parables isn't to "reveal the meaning" of what's being said, but to HIDE IT!

"That is why I tell these stories [parables], because people see what I do, but they don't really see. They hear what I say, but they really don't hear, and they don't understand. This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah, which says: 'You will hear My Words, but you will not understand; you will see what I do, but you will not perceive its meaning. For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes - so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to Me and let Me heal them.'" (Matt.13:13-15 NLT)

And so, the WHOLE BIBLE IS WRITTEN AS A PARABLE! In such a way that most of mankind WILL NOT UNDERSTAND IT!

"They say, 'Who does the LORD think we are? Why does He speak to us like this? Are we little children, barely old enough to talk? He tells us everything over and over again, a line at a time, in very simple words!'

"Since they refuse to listen, God will speak to them through foreign oppressors who speak an unknown language! God's people could have rest in their own land if they would only obey Him, but they will not listen. So the LORD will spell out His message for them again, repeating it over and over, a line at a time, in very simple words. Yet they will stumble over this simple, straightforward message. They will be injured, trapped, and captured." (Isa.28:9-13 NLT)

The best "translation" and "compilation" of the Bible remains meaningless, unless its READER approaches it with Humility, Trust and Faith IN IT!

"...I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who TREMBLE AT MY WORD." (Isa.66:2 NLT)

The best "writings" of the Bible were the individual "Original Manuscripts." The ONLY UNDERSTANDING of the Bible... the LIVING Word of God... comes directly from its LIVING AUTHOR.

"The disciples asked each other, 'What does He mean... We don't Understand.' ...Jesus... said, 'Are you asking yourselves what I meant? ...Truly you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to Me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy when you see Me again. It will be like a woman experiencing the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives place to joy because she has brought a new person into the world. You have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy...

"...I have spoken of these matters IN PARABLES, but the time will come when this will not be NECESSARY, and I will tell you plainly about the Father." (John 16:17-25 NLT)

Jesus tells us that the parables are NECESSARY for now... so that the world in general WON'T UNDERSTAND IT.

The Bible is a parable [written 'line upon line; here a little, and there a little'] that's intended for the "called-out servants of God" to Know and Understand its Truth, NOW; and to "hide the meaning of its Words" from the world.

"...I have passed on to them THE WORDS YOU GAVE ME; and THEY ACCEPTED THEMand Know that I came from you, and they BELIEVE YOU SENT ME. My prayer IS NOT FOR THE WORLD, but FOR THOSE YOU GAVE ME, because THEY BELONG TO YOU." (John 17:8-9 NLT)

It doesn't matter whether the "translation" of the Bible is the best [which is what the question is really asking], because that's debatable; but whether the "heart and mind of the reader" is best suited to receive it. So, the BEST WRITTEN BIBLE is whichever translation THIS "Humble, Trembling" READER is reading.
