The Tanakh (also Tenakh, Tenak, Tanach) is a name for the cannon of the Hebrew Bible, which became the Old Testament adopted by Christians. The Tanakh includes the written Torah (or Pentateuch) which is the name for the first five books of The Bible.

The Septuagint, or simply "LXX", is an Ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible. In time this was referred to as the Greek translation of Old Testament.
