July 27, 2009 The 1994 Premier silver proof set sold for $37.50 from the mint. Today it is valued at $50. These sets contained the same coins as the 1994 Silver Proof set but were packaged in a deluxe box. The Premier series was not popular and production numbers were fairly low with only 149,320 sets produced.
The coin is a Eisenhower dollar and has no silver in it. Only proof and uncirculated coins from the mint have more than face value.

No 1994 W Proof Silver Eagles were struck, but they were struck in 1995 for the first time at the West Point Mint and they do have the "W" mintmark, this coin in the grade of PF-70 has a retail value of $15,000.00.
