shabda rUp means forms of nouns/pronouns/adjectives etc., with the case terminations, effect of number and gender on the word. Unlike most modern languages Sanskrit's word modifiers are integral parts. Like rAmeNa[the so called third variation, typifying the Instrumental Case - the karaNa kAraka] means by, through or with Rama for instance. The same in Hindi would become rAm se or rAm dvAra. In English and Hindi the original noun rAm/Rama remains unchanged. Hence knowing shabda rUp are very important! These are avilable for ease of reference in books called shabda-manjarI and similarly for verbs there are dhAturUpasangraha.
