But it does say that God is a Spirit.
God is Farther, Son, and Holy Ghost.
1 Timothy 3:16King James Version (KJV)16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Philippians 2:5-7King James Version (KJV)5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
It doesn't. Only Mormons believe that Man can become God through good works, which is in contradiction with the Bible.
The first person to SAY it is God to Adam. The first person to SIN is Eve.
forever, because jesus died on the cross for us. So we go to heaven, and we can live forever with God. (this is in God's opinion)
The phrase "but God" appears in 44 verses of the KJV bible.
The Bible has no line that I am aware of to that effect.
It simply does not say this in the Bible.
In the beginning, mankind was meant to live forever. When Jehovah God told Adam about the Tree of Knowledge, He brought out that he would die...but only if he partook of it. (Genesis 2:16-17) Therefore, if he didn't eat from it, no death. Add that to the fact that Jehovah "put eternity" in man's heart, meaning that we have the innate desire to live forever. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Adam and Eve chose the wrong path however, and that's when imperfection (which brings death) was introduced to the rest of us. (Romans 5:12 & 14) Thanks to Jesus' sacrifice however, if one exercises faith in it they'll be able to attain eternal life in the future. (John 3:16; Romans 5:18) (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
The Bible says that God will provide man with all his needs.
If they exercise faith in the ransom of Jesus (Jehovah God's son), people are able to live eternally. (John 3:16) This is part of Jehovah's original purpose for the Earth, which will be fulfilled in the future. (Psalms 37:11 & 29) This also explains why Jehovah "put eternity" in the hearts of people-He created them to live forever originally. When Adam and Eve sinned, they became imperfect. After that they had children, which could only be imperfect just like them. (Romans 5:12 & 14) However, thanks to Jesus giving his life, he was able to get mankind another chance to have what they lost-eternal life. (Romans 5:18) (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
The Bible teaches that man is made in the image of God and has a spirit that is eternal and connected to God. Man's spirit is seen as the essence of his being, capable of knowing and communing with God.
No - actually the complete opposite. It says in Numbers 23:19 that "God is not a man that He should lie, or the Son of man that He should change His mind." = = Note that the Bible does indeed say that God is not of flesh that He is spirit but the Bible does refer to God as Father or He, Jesus as the Son of man or He and the Holy Spirit as He. All of these names or pronouns are masculine.
no. wiser in what? religion or God?
the christian bible say that god created so i would ask where did god come from
I believe the bible came from GOD to man.
In the Bible, God said that man's lifespan would be 120 years in Genesis 6:3.
It doesn't. It says that no man can know this, only God.
The Bible teaches that man is a spiritual being created in the image of God, with a soul that will live on after physical death. The spirit of man is believed to be eternal and connected to God, who gives life and purpose to humanity.
