Many feel that the entire Bible was written for all humanity.
The 'Old Testament' was written about the history of God's dealings with people from early times, (mainly the Israelite nation and before(Joshua 23:14), but it, like the 'New Testament', was written FOR anyone who wanted to learn about the Biblical God and his laws.
Much of the Old Testament contains historical information and prophecies about
*the coming of the Messiah (Genesis 3:15, Daniel 9:25,26, John 1:41 )
*the reason so much suffering exists on earth (Genesis 3:1-5, Revelation 12:9, 1 John 5:19, 1 John 3:8) and
*the promise of seeing God bring peace to the earth someday(Psalms 37:10,11,29, Matthew 5, Revelation 21:4).
The 'New Testament' records the FULFILLMENT of many of those prophecies.
Without the 'Old Testament', much of the 'New Testament' would not make sense, the OLD explains much of the NEW, and the NEW fulfills much of the OLD. (MarK 14:49; John 5:39, Romans 1:2; 2Timothy 3:15)
Because of this, many feel that the entire Biblewas written FOR all mankind. (Psalms 119:105, Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11)
