1) Most hermetic compressors are cooled by the suction gas. If there is an undercharge, there will be an undercooling (or overheating) of the motor.
2) Ambient air is used to cool the air in the fan department.
In some refrigeration systems, mechanical energy is converted to heat energy by mechanically compressing a refrigerant, by means of a compressor; and since refrigerants have a fixed pressure-temperature relationship, much like saturated steam, altering the pressure of a refrigerant correspondingly alters its temperature. I've read of other methods utilizing friction, which is itself mechanical energy in the more pure and direct sense rather than the operation of a mechanical device which itself is utilizing electrical energy, but the compressor example is the only practical real-world application of this nature in common, everyday use that I can think of.
The advantages to certain NDT methods is that most of the inspections can be done while the part is still on the main structure, they also allow for bulk inspections. Some disadvantages to the methods are that some of them can be very time consuming as well as susceptible to human error in reading of the results.

For an open machine thermal conduction and air-cooling are the only methods possible, sometimes with a fan to boost the flow of air.Oil-cooling and water-cooling can only be used on closed machines.
Phase change cooling Liquid Immersion
Passive and active air cooling and liquid cooling. What three methods or devices are used to cool a CPU
Proper cooling consists of methods such as refrigeration, ice bath, and blast chilling. Not a proper method for cooling is leaving food at room temperature to cool down.
Some common cooling methods used on drip-proof machines include natural convection cooling, forced air cooling using fans, liquid cooling through a closed loop system, and heat sinks for dissipating heat. The choice of cooling method depends on factors such as the machine's power, size, and operating environment.

Standard transformer cooling methods include; Air cooling and oil cooling.AnswerTransmission and distribution transformers are oil filled. Cooling is achieved either by natural convection yo the sides of the tank (small distribution transformers) or through cooling tubes, or by pumped circulation through external heat exchangers. The heat exchangers themselves, are cooled by natural convection, forced air draught, or water.
Particles can be slowed down through various methods, such as cooling them using techniques like laser cooling or evaporative cooling. These methods lower the kinetic energy of the particles, causing them to slow down. Magnetic and optical traps can also be used to confine and cool particles to reduce their speed.
Some methods of trapping carbon dioxide are: electrochemical reduction, cooling it into a liquid, and passing the gas through an alkali.
