Yes, I would say so. Becoming an engineer takes A LOT of advanced math and physics skills that colleges and universities will teach you such as calculus and more advanced physics courses. Plus, if you go to a good college you will have hands on instructing with mechanical engineering.
U cannot become an mechanical engineering . You can become a mechanical engineer in a minimum of 4 years after you pass your high school.
There are many different types of engineering jobs available in the work force. One type is mechanical engineering, which is a branch of engineering that is involved with taking advantage of natural sources of energy. Mechanical engineers design machines and tools that channel energy effectively. Most of them specialize in a certain type of equipment. Some mechanical engineers focus on pollution control; others work with refrigeration systems or automobile engines. While most mechanical engineers spend a lot of time working directly with machines, some of them are active in other areas. For instance, they may be college professors or work as consultants. Others are more involved with research and development or sales. About seventy-five percent of mechanical engineers work in the manufacturing industry. In order to become a mechanical engineer, it is usually necessary to get a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Further education will improve one’s chances of a good job; many engineers go to school for master’s degrees after starting their careers in order to advance. Another way to expand one’s knowledge is to subscribe to trade journals and read them regularly. Depending on the area that one works in, there may be a need to acquire a license, which requires an engineering degree and four years of experience in the field. There is also a test that must be taken before the license is awarded. Those starting out in mechanical engineering with a bachelor’s degree make an average of about $50,000 a year, while those with a master’s degree usually earn closer to $60,000 when they start out. Mechanical engineers with doctorates can expect a salary of nearly $70,000. Benefits generally include insurance, retirement plans and paid vacations. Most mechanical engineers have a 40-hour work week, though the number of hours worked may be higher than that at times, especially if they are behind on a project. Some engineers work primarily indoors, while others are out on construction sites much of the time. They sometimes must deal with dangers like heavy equipment or hazardous materials, but work conditions are generally safe. For the mechanically minded, this is a good career path with plenty of opportunity for advancement.
Computer Engineering is the science of programming. Mechanical Engineering is a wide field that covers subjects from material properties (used in everything from developing chips to earth-moving machines). A typical Mechanical Engineer will have a variety of skills that envolve "dynamics", "statics", and a lot of other fun stuff. However, to know how to program things that involve Mechanical Engineering, you would need to know a fair amount of the subject. Knowing how to program something without knowing how it works would need...at best an interprerter. I have an electronic, electrical, and chemical background; however I know how to program a lot of things and have a few computer languages under my belt. My experience is that to know the real world around you and knowing some languages is a lot more helpful than just programming. Of course, I am a little biased, but if you see my logic, you can see that knowing Engineering helps you to understand the world around you and you become a much more effective programmer or Systems manager. Life is difficult, Love difficult.
Sherwood Cryer didn't invent the mechanical bull but he was the first person to use one for entertainment purposes, and to put one in a club or bar. He also bought the company that owned the patents and made the bulls when he realized that the bull was about to become one of the stars of the movie "Urban Cowboy" before the movie was released in 1980. The company was renamed Gilley's Bronco Shop, Inc. where they made two models, the Bronco and the El Toro. This was a brilliant business decision that made both Cryer and Mickey Gilley a lot of money over the years as sales of the bulls skyrocketed after the release of the movie.
There is an old joke: "What's the difference between civil and mechanical engineers? Mechanical engineers build weapons -- civil engineers build targets." Yuck yuck. In reality civil engineering involves the design and construction of buildings, roadways, bridges, railroads, water supply, drainage, and sewers. Sometimes this is referred to as "infrastructure" Usually these are larger things that have a long service life. Mechanical engineering deals with machinery -- automobiles, trucks, machine tools, engines, pumps, and things of that nature -- including weapons. Typically it involves shorter service life, smaller size (although there are some Really Big machines out there!) and more precision.
For one who is seeking to become a mechanical engineer, one needs a certain amount of post secondary college. The amount depends on how much one is willing to study.
The cost of college tuition to become an engineer can vary widely depending on the specific college or university you attend and whether you qualify for financial aid or scholarships. On average, however, you can expect to pay around $25,000 to $50,000 per year for tuition and fees at a public university, and potentially much more at a private university. It's important to research and consider all potential costs, such as housing, books, and supplies, in addition to tuition.
You need to pursue studies at any Engineering College or University and get the Degree in Civil Engineering to become a Professional Civil Engineer.

To become an Engineer, the best place is hands on experience with your local college (Ontario, Canada), if a University Degree is required attend after, therefore being able to skip paying University tuitions for courses that have been completed through College.
No, never. Its not allowed.
Pass plus two exam with Physics, chemistry and maths and join Engineering college after passing the entrance examination to study in Mechanical Engineering.
Are you required to be licensed or certified as a mechanical engineer?
To become a structural engineer you must obtain a structural engineering degree. To get a structural engineering degree one must attend a qualified college or university.
