As far as I am aware:
Tension, Compression, Shear, Bending, Bearing.
structural, fatigue, flow. residual,and thermal
there are different types of modulus it depends on what types of stress is acting on the material if its direct stress then then there is modulus of elasticity,if tis shear stress then its modulus of rigidity and when its volumetric stress it is bulk modulus and so on
There is not really one. Engineering itself is the overarching title, but there are different types, such as civil, mechanical, etc.
im doing my first year in mechanical engineering technology, and the hardest course so far are dynamics, statics and stress analysis.
Mechanical Engineering is one of several types of education offered by the College of Engineering at a four-year university. MIT (Cambridge) is among the most respected in the country, as is Stanford and UC-Berkley. A complete list is here: http://www.mechanicalengineeringschools.org/
the stress in the word engineering is the double ''e'' after engin:engineering.
We almost always use engineering stress as that is the number reported in strength tests.
The engineering model of stress is based on the concept of a material experiencing an internal force per unit area. It describes how a material deforms under applied loads and how it resists these forces. This model is used in engineering to design structures and materials that can withstand various stresses without failing.
stress= force/C.S.A. so fracture stress = force at fracture / Cross.Sectional.Area.

Civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and software engineering.
There are various aspects of civil engineering which might be related to stress. For example, concern about making deadlines may be a stressful experience.
good stress, medium stress and bad stress
All types
The three types of stress are compression, tension, and shear stress.tensional

There are so many different types of stress that my affect your body. Some of these types include emotional tress, physical stress, mental stress, nutritional stress and so much more.
