In a single-stage system your air is either on or off. Meaning the system outputs a set amount of heat/air per hour, operating only at 100% capacity or off. In a multistage system, your unit outputs for example at 40% power over an hour to maintain a constant temperature of 70F. When changed by the user it will boost power to 100% to change the temperature, then reduce power again to 40% to maintain the newly selected temperature. Multistage systems are generally more energy efficient because of this feature.

What is difference between cooling load and heating load?

Cooling Load is the amount of energy that is to be extracted from a house to develop a conditioned environment. There are two types of cooling loads i.e, sensible cooling load and latent cooling load.... Heating Load is the amount of heat that is to be supplied to a house in order to increase its temperature to maintain desired temperature...

What is the ralb-042jaz tonnage?

The tonnage of the RALB-042jaz system is 3.5 tons. Rheem heating ans cooling products include both indoor heating furnace units and outdoor air conditioners.

What is heat pump?

A heat pump is one part, of a two part heating and cooling system and can be used as the primary heating unit in mild winter locations. They can also be used to supplement other heating systems where the temperatures are sub-freezing for longer time periods. Heat pumps also are used in summer for cooling. Basically, the way the system works in cooling mode is the same as most any other AC system. When winter comes it essentially runs the system in reverse to produce heat instead of cooling. The advantage is that it is very cheap to run. The biggest two disadvantages are the compressor has to run during both seasons, causing wear... and ... after you get to about 26 degrees F., the heat pump needs auxiliary heat (gas or electric coil) to warm your house. For most warmer climates they are the best choice. Speak with an HVAC professional to determine your region's best heating option.

How do you replace tube heat exchanger?

Heat exchange tubes are intended for heating or cooling process fluids, they are for example suitable for closed circuit cooling of electrical equipment using demineralised water and for cooling water soluble oil solutions in quenching tanks.

What is the tonnage On an Armstrong 2shp13le118p-1?

The Armstrong 2shp13le118p-1 refers to a specific model of a unit, likely a heating or cooling system, with a capacity of 2 tons. In HVAC terms, one ton of cooling capacity can remove 12,000 BTUs (British Thermal Units) per hour. Therefore, a 2-ton unit like the Armstrong 2shp13le118p-1 would have a cooling capacity of approximately 24,000 BTUs per hour.
