In my opinion, the biggest disadvatage (shared among all packages) is the difficulty in translating between packages. Many of us do this daily, and it is a PITA. Solidworks, in particular, is bad in that you can't save to a lower version that could be read by somebody working even 1 version down from you. The second biggest disadvantage (shared among many packages) is the difficulty of sharing data to co-workers without CAD seats or CAD knowledge.
