Tanks were used in World War 1 and the Allied tanks were better equipped than the germans' although the germans' were bigger and i think they were faster the Allied tanks were superior to their enemies' WW1 was when tanks were used in large scale for the first time but i think they were invented some time before the war but not long before. hope that helps!!! :-)
No. Titanium costs approximately 10 times more than steel and titanium is only lighter that steel. You actually will need more titanium than steel for armor (strength to size issue). Tanks don't have problem with heavy armor so weight is not an issue for them.
They are not hollow- they are filled with a spongy material that is saturated with liquid acetone. When the acetylene is pumped into the tank, it dissolves in the acetone, much like CO2 dissolving in a bottle of soda. If the tanks are laid on their sides, the acetone will be forced out into the hoses and torch. You will get a strange flame with a lot of excess carbon. Tanks that have been laid down should be stood up, and left in that position for at least an hour so that the acetone moves back towards the bottom of the spongy material.
Just one big one
Answer The British established a Rocket battalion during the Napoleonic Wars in early 1800's. They were used at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. They were also used by the British in the War of 1812 against America---thus the national anthem's line that says "in rocket's red glare". I don't know if this was the first use of rockets. But it was probably the first operational use by a large number of rockets.
ASTM410 or A410 steel is a classification of a type of steel used for ships. Its properties include high capacity for pressure and resilience to corrosion, making it the ideal material for shipbuilding. Also, It has been known to be the major component in the building of large holding tanks for hazardous chemicals.
It was World War 1.
The British Army first used tanks in World War 1.
Tanks were just used as back ups. Not like todays tanks that are used in the front to push through the lines. Tanks had many flaws still since they were just introduced by Britain in the war.
Yes, the first use was about twenty years earlier in WW1 tanks were used extensively
That's where they were first used; less than one thousand were built.
During World War Two, the first mechanized warfare was used in fighting. This was in the form of tanks and airplanes.
