Physical Therapy Assistant can not deviate from the plan of care.

As a part of their job duty their role is to follow the treatment plan created by Physical therapist.

I think in Texas and California( I am sure in USA as whole) PT is the one who makes the treatment plan and not PTA.

In Texas or California this is the law for PTA.
