Good things like freezies, slushies, popsicles are fine and will help aid in controlling the swelling. We are talking about the first 24~48 hours when the swelling may be at it's worst, once we get past that point it's pretty easy and you can start eating a bit more normally. Chamomile tea made into ice cubes is another good option, chamomile is a nature anti inflamitory and doesn't taste too bad either.
