Hippocrates' most famous accomplishment is probably the writing of "The Oath," better known today as the Hippocratic Oath. Physicians in ancient Greece, and still sometimes today, would take the oath, the basic tenets of which include: do no harm, seek only to aid the patient, and do not abuse one's power as a physician.
