Dmitri Mendelev was a Russian scientist who created the first modern Periodic Table of elements.

if you mean who: dmitri mendelev
D. Mendelev
This is from wikipedia: Although precursors to this table exist, its invention is generally credited to Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869, who intended the table to illustrate recurring ("periodic") trends in the properties of the elements.

mendelev
Dmitri Mendeleev is credited with developing the periodic table of elements in 1869. He organized the elements based on their atomic mass and properties, predicting the existence of elements yet to be discovered. His periodic table laid the foundation for our modern understanding of the chemical elements.
For a better understanding and way to organize the elements. Research Mendelev.

Dmitri Mendeleev 1834-1907 however, Antoine Lavoisier in 1790's had compiled a list of elements (so basically the 'first periodic table') Than in 1864 John newlands "proposed an organized scheme for elements." He created the law of octaves. when he noticed that "when elements were arranged in increasing atomic mass their properties repeated every eighth element.' (first and eighth elements had similar properties). However 1869, Lothar Meyer 1830-1895, AS WELL AS Dmitri mendeleev 'demonstrated connection between atomic mass and elemental properties'. HOWEVER: "Mendeleeve is given more credit because he published his orgnanization scheme first and better demonstrated its usefulness."
