Raising your blood pressure will increase pain. Yes.
Before getting braces, you typically need a dental exam, X-rays, and possibly some teeth cleaning or extraction if overcrowding is an issue. Regarding pain, most people rate the discomfort of getting braces around 3 to 5 out of 10; while the process itself might be uncomfortable, any pain usually subsides within a few days as you adjust to the braces.
Yes, that's the beauty of getting your braces off =)
They can hurt for a couple of days to a couple of weeks, depends on the amount of braces and the person.
Cause your teeth are getting used to them.
Yes, because your teeth are sore for a few days after getting braces, so naturally it hurts to brush.
Yes. However, it's more likely that you'll get braces first for at least 6 months (half a year) and then get a retainer. Good luck! x
There is lots of advice one should know about when getting braces. Perhaps the best place to find out what one should know is by talking to one's dentist. Some general advice with braces is to avoid any food that is sticky, chewy, or hard. One should expect sore teeth for several days after getting braces and having teeth loosen while wearing the braces is normal and expected and they should regain their rigidity again later.
When you first get braces, it will hurt for a couple days. To stop the pain so much, eat soft food like mash, baked beans, yoghurt ect. Afrter about a week, you wont even realise you have braces! Sorry, I cant help you on the other one!
No, but for the first couple days, as you're getting used to them, you'll have to get used to talking with them.. It will be weird at first.
I found that the bands actually hurt a lot more than the actual braces...in fact putting the braces on was a piece of cake... :) i agree, i mean i have bands on ATM and im getting more braces (traintracks) in two days time and the pulling of the teeth from the bands is extremely painful and, as all my mates have traintracks, apprantley the actual braces don't hurt as much and the only thing that hurts when getting your braces on is the numbness in your butt when you have to sit there for an hour whilst the dentist puts the braces on :)
no. i have braces. your teeth don't get sore until after they're put on. I recommend taking advil before no they pute glue(tastes really bad) on your braces then they shine a light up to it and it dries the glue no pain envolved.
Of course its going to hurt. But only when you're getting them on, changed bands and a few days after both of those, its not a constant pain all the time.
