I agree, though. Although Medusa and her two sisters, Stheno and Euryale, were born to Phorcys and Ceto, both of them Sea Deities, Medusa was slayed by Perseus. Therefore she couldn't have been immortal -- she would have to be a god -- and you can't kill a god.

It isn't true that she used black magick to rearrange her face, though. Medusa had a 'date' with Poseidon, during which they went to the Temple of Athena, and there, Athena transformed Medusa's face into the most hideous one in the world.

Please don't portray magick in that way, unless it's in the right situation. I doubt you actually know the first thing about magick.
