MY, YOUR, THEIR, OUR You can also subdivide possessive adjectives into adjectives describing color, height, temperature, age, shape, etc. Probably the biggest issue is whether or not an adjective is describing something objectively or subjectively. Objective adjectives would include the aforementioned TALL, SHORT, YOUNG and OLD whereas adjectives like GOOD, BAD, PRETTY and UGLY would be subjective: something objective is considered a fact whereas something subjective is considered an opionion.
In lines 2 and 5 of a diamante poem, two adjectives describe each contrasting idea. For example, in a diamante comparing day and night, the second and fifth lines would each have two adjectives describing day and night, respectively.
