Hitler brainwashed thousands of people to work for him in his attempt to create the perfect race. This meant eliminating Jews and people with physical defects. I'm pretty sure Hitler had this specfic thing against Jews, but I can't remember why.

I believe that in 1939 the Jewish people were already being rounded up by the nazi forves and being placed into concentration camps. Workd War II would ultimately begin in 1941. During this time however a massive egnocide campaign was launched against the Jewish people at the hands of Adolf Hitler's army. Most notably, their view of racial supremacy led them to believe that the Jewish people were less than human, and the blame placed on the Jews for the loss of World War 1 led the Nazi party to believe the Jewish people needed eliminated to better society.
The fact they killed 6 million Jewish people did change their lives. They also took away property, forced Jewish businessmen to close their business, closed schools, killed people randomly, placed people in ghettos like Warsaw. There are people alive today that have no living relative because of Hitler.

On a traditional Jewish coffin, nothing is placed on it. The Star of David may be carved into it, but this is not dictated by Jewish law.
After WW1 reparations were placed on Germany and as a result by 1930 people were out of work, inflation was high, and Hitler told the people he was the only one who could fix it. He got a seat in the assembly and finally was able to remove the president by taking control citing an attack by the communist. He suspended the constitution, and began to take people's rights as well as blamed the Jewish community for Germany's problems.
