Actual estimates are hard to determine. It was believed the the invasion force suffered 118 dead and 1201 captured. The Cuban Army lost 176 soldiers. The estimates for the militia and civilians killed or wounded could go as high as 5000 people.

104 men died, 4 were American pilots and 100 of them were U.S. backed Cuban exiles. And a total of 1,200 were captured by Castro's army and assumed dead.
