Blood: If one had any Jewish blood or if one of his/her parents were Jewish he/she could lose their life because of that. If one had German blood or any other but Jewish he had a life.4. The Nuremberg Trials put officers from the German High Command responsible for war crimes to justice. Among the war crimes that they were convicted of were atrocities committed in the concentration camps.
He was starting to plan the empire that he wanted to built, because he had been about one year as fuhrer, president and chancellor combined into 1 leader. The war started in 1939.
He was captured and put on trial at Nuremberg. When, in 1946, he was sentenced to hang rather than a soldiers death by firing squad he took cyanide which he had hidden in a pot of skin cream.

Germany was a one-party state when the Nuremberg Laws were passed (1935). Only Nazi party nominees were allowed to stand for election. The Nuremberg Laws were not put to the vote. They were read out, the Nazi Reichstag cheered wildly and that was that. 'Passed by acclaim' was the expression used.
