Vietnam was fought in a jungle, where the enemy hid below ground surprising our soldiers. The visible/media support was not present and our soldiers were mistreated horribly. World War 2 was fought in two locations, Pacific Islands and Europe. The American people came together to make sure businesses and homes were available when the soldiers came home, that they had proper weapons and equipment during the war.
