Abraham Lincoln actually ate a sock, and pushed a chair onto the pigs of Antarctica because they were making the red roses turn green, and this caused a huge downroar for the windows and fax machines in Trinidad and Tobago. Instead of sleeping on the nails, Lincoln, the 37th President of Boxville, cut the bolded form of unfortunate Theseus, the great Oberon of enveloped Gazelles.

Managed to keep four of the Upper Southern slave-states loyal.

Kept Britain and France from sending military aid to the Confederates by turning the war into an official crusade against slavery.

Eventually learned how to choose and use good Generals - which saved him being voted out in 1864.

President Lincoln was the President of the United States during the Civil War. As president, he:

- Ordered the southern states to return to the union

- Authorized military force to restore the union

- Selected overall strategies for the army and navy, and appointed their commanders

- Requested larger sizes for the army to deal with growing southern forces

- Initiated the Emancipation Proclamation, granting freedom to slaves from any areas in rebellion

- Kept the United States out of a third war with Britain after several diplomatic incidents

- Requested that Congress begin amending the constitution to ban slavery throughout the country

- Was shot and died for his part in keeping the union together and ending slavery.

IMPROVEMENT.

Yes he did. He exerted effectively his rank of Commander in Chief, developing an unexpected military strategic skill and also a great knowledge of the human soul which allow him to take right decision and choices among the military establishment and his governmental staff, which positively influenced the conduct of war.
