When John Brown was growing up, his father was a strong abolitionist when John grew up and became a responsible adult he followed his fathers foot steps in becoming an abolitionist. While becoming an abolitionist, John had made his contribute by making it violent and harming people who were very against freeing slaves. So after he killed many people he was finally hung.

John Brown (abolitionist / revolutionary) was born in 1800. He was hanged in 1859, after the disastrous raid on Harpers Ferry.
Brown took slaves to Harper's Ferry where there was an arsenal of weapons that he gave to slaves to start a slave rebellion. He was also responsible for bloody atrocities in "Bloody Kansas," prior to that.

John Brown wanted publicity for his antislavery movement. So he took over the arsenal at Harper's Ferry Virginia. He was hanged for killing people in the process of capturing the arsenal.
John Brown invaded Harper's Ferry in 1859 with the intention of starting a slave rebellion. He believed that by capturing the arsenal there, he could arm enslaved people and spark an uprising against their oppressors.
John Philip Sousa was responsible for being a conductor during his time in the military. John was also a Warrant Officer and part of both the Marines and the Navy.
