During the American Civil War, the North primarily used rifled muskets, such as the Springfield Model 1861, which allowed for greater accuracy and range. The South also utilized similar rifled muskets but relied heavily on the production of their own weapons, including the Enfield rifle. Both sides employed artillery pieces like cannons and howitzers, as well as new technologies such as ironclad warships and Gatling guns. Overall, the war saw a mix of traditional firearms and emerging military technology.
Fear that the North Vietnamese would obtain nuclear weapons themselves (from Russia or China) and use them on South Vietnam or even on America.
People in the South referred to the Civil War as "The rich mans' war and the poor mans' fight" because the North [the rich men] due to the industrial revolution had more money and you tactics and weapons one might use in a major war. While the South [the poor men] were still economically based through agriculture and did not have the extra money the North had because they stayed that way and did not industrialised the South had to use more common weapons and different tactics to match up with the weapons they had to use.
The U.S used no nuclear weapons whatsoever on Vietnam.
Goldwater wanted to use nuclear weapons on Cuba and North Vietnam.
The Anaconda plan was strategically simplistic and of course tactically difficult to implement. It entailed controlling the Mississippi (which would split the Confederacy) and blockading the South to prevent exports (which would be used to pay for weapons).
Iron weapons
My turn to use the musket today, Reb. Seriously, both sides had basically the same weapons, but the North had more and better ones. One weapon the North had which the South did not was the breech-loading repeating Sharps rifle - that Damned Yankee gun they loaded on Sunday and shot all week according to the Rebs.

They use Kanji, along with Japan, and North and South Korea (they use the Korean version of Kanji.)
bayonet
The North.
No country uses biological weapons of any type at this time.
1. Could not invade North Vietnam 2. Could not use atomic weapons 3. Could not stop flow of men/material into South Vietnam
There are many reasons the north won the war, including more troops (population) and more weapons (industry) but I personally think the main reason is because of transportation. The north had railroads that they could use to transport men, food, and weapons to wherever they're needed most faster than the south could.
They used rapiers which are a type of sword and a pistol which is a type of gun.
North Korea use North Korean won. South Korea use South Korean won.
