many people just got on with their normal lives. some where affected more than others. Some said that it was strange how it was more or less the same as before the war started. A good book about the war would be FIREWEED - i don't know who it is by but it gives lots of detail into the lives of people in ww2 and how they lived. Its also a very interesting read!
