During the war the soldiers did not have a very good food supply at all. They didn't even have enough water they had to eat what ever food they could get and that wasnt much. All the food was a big sloppy mess. It looked disgusting but they had to eat it to stay alive. They had bread, porridge, meat casserole most of the time.

If you got or had none of those you had to eat a German soldier. To finish off you would not get to much food to eat during World War 2.
