A casualty was a casualty in the Army. They did not classify casualties ethnically.
Much like the war today many countries disagreed that the U.S. should have entered into the Vietnam War. Some people believe it should have happened and some don't. It's strictly an individuals choice of what they want to believe. Personally, I don't believe that the U.S. should have entered the Vietnam War.
Both parts of Vietnam were battle sites of the war.

America's not at war with Iraq. America's trying to restore law, order, and stability in Iraq. America's longest war was against the American Indian (native Americans) from approximately 1620 (when the Pilgrims landed) until the Battle of Wounded Knee in 1890. America was at war with the country of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. From approximately 1955 until North Vietnam won the war in 1975.
Australia provided their superb Centurion medium battle tank to supplement America's Patton tanks against the communist enemy in Vietnam.
