Matt Eastman's book on Browning.
Try contacting Browning via their website at www.browning.com
What are the markings on the pistol?
Blue Book of Gun Values
Call Browning and ask for a historical letter.
Find a copy of Matt Eastman's book on Browning
You would have to call Browning to find out.
Go to Browning.com.
The Browning website, under customer Service, has date-of-manufacture by serial number for many of the model firearms that they made. However, you did not tell us the model- and Browning made rifles, shotguns, and pistols- so we can't even guess at what you have- but find the model, and visit their website. Your Browning was made in 1990
Dont believe Browning chambered a rifle for the 6mm Remington cartridge. Do you mean 6.35mm (a pistol)?
