In World War II, war between Great Britain and Germany guaranteed the involvement of other nations due to several factors. On Germany's side, her expansion was coming at the expense of nations other than Great Britain; in particular, Poland. On Great Britain's side, alliances were in place that committed various other nations to waging war together in the case of any aggression on the part of any third-party nation (such as Germany).
World War II began on September 1, 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. This act of aggression prompted Britain and France to declare war on Germany on September 3, 1939. The war would go on to involve many nations and last until 1945.
A good seventy countries were involved in WW2, although a lot of these countries didn't come in until the middle of or towards the end of WW2. But France, Britain, Russia, Japan, Poland, Italy, and of course, Germany were involved in WW2 from the beginning to the end.
Cold War
The least to blame if is Great Britain. Obviously, all the other countries were in high tensions, G.B. did not do anything except the arms race which did not involve anything. Britain did make an alliance earlier with France which Wilhelm the second tested by taking lands to see if G.B. would help and they did but G.B. did not start the war. If i had to list countries for who started the war it would be Serbia and Germany. Germany wanted to interfere a lot and start war while Serbia was the murderer of the Aus. throne leader. I still feel like Serbia could not stop the attack knowing it came from a group of terrorist and not a government thing which Austria just happened to call war on because of all the tensions and because they had Germany, a strong mil. power, along with them. The least to blame was Belgium. They were a neutral country Germany invaded on its way to attack France.
because the treaty of versaille forbid Hitler to build up a great army, navy and airforce. but the appeasement ment he could and this encouraged him do do more like take the rest of czehaslovakia etc. hope this helps :)
There has probably been more than one non-aggression pact in history but the most famous is the 1939 pact between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union - which Germany broke in 1940.
The battle of Bulge was fought between Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The prime minister Robert Menzies blindly followed Britain in declaring war against Germany.
Yes. WW1 did involve Germany for they were one of the central powers.
It didn't. This was a war strictly between Russia & Japan. Britain had a treaty with Japan; ANY nation taking sides would involve Great Britain. Quite naturally, any nation siding with Japan would have to face nations siding with Russia...such as France and Germany (who favored Russia).

In both cases, because Germany attacked countries with which the UK had alliances or to whom she had given guarantees. In 1914, when Germany attacked France via Belgium, Britain, as a member of the Triple Entente (Britain, France and Russia), was obliged to go to the defense of France. In March 1939, after Hitler had broken the 1938 Munich Agreement and occupied Czechoslovakia, Britain and France gave guarantees to Poland that they would go to war with Germany if Hitler attacked Poland, which, of course, happened on September 1, 1939. After Germany ignored Britain's ultimatum to withdraw from Poland, she declared war on Germany on September 3.
The previous answer was completely wrong! There was a massive naval race between Germany and Britain prior to the Great War (WWI). This is a major cause of WWI and culminated in the largest naval battle in world history, the battle of Jutland.
Great Britain and Germany had fought in World War I, where Britain's alliance with France resulted in air attacks on London by Germany. The victorious Allies inflicted ruinous reparations on Germany, but could not prevent the determined rebirth of German nationalism under the Nazis, beginning in 1933. As had occurred in the first World War, Britain's alliances (this time with Czechoslovakia and Poland) forced it reluctantly into another major war with Germany, in an even wider conflict due to the inclusion of Italy and later Japan in the Axis. _____________ Britain had undertaken to defend Poland (not an entirely practical proposition given the two countries' geographical position) after Hitler's takeover of what was left of Czechoslovakia.
Russia and Germany .
The way you've phrased that question, only Britain was involved in WWII in Britain.
Italy , Japan and Germany .
