The Voting Rights Act was written in 1965. The Act was written to help African-Americans in voting and their rights. The bill was signed into law by Lyndon Johnson.

The Soviet Union signed the non-aggression act called the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact in Moscow on August 23, 1939. Officially the Treaty of Non-Aggression between Germany and the Soviet Union, it effectively allowed Germany and the USSR to divide Poland between them. It did not, however, deter Hitler from attacking the USSR, anyway, in June, 1941.

Germany signed a Non-Aggression act with The Russia Federation, or Russia. The act meant that the two countries would never fight or partake in war against each other. However it was violated by Germany when they attacked Russia in World War II.
The Soviet Union signed a non-agression pact to buy time before the Germans attacked them. The pact also included secret clauses, one of which planned the division of Poland.
